St. Patricks Day 2026, seen the Faugheen50 Club attend the Carrick on Suir Parade of Champions with our club float. The club had a number of race bikes on the float, followed by our club members on their motorcycles, along with Carrick on Suir Motorclub Go-Karters putting on a great spectacle for the spectators lining the route. The club threw sweets and stickers out to those taking in the sights, while our club chairperson kept the revs high to the delight of those watching. The highlight was the club doing a burnout on the truck towards the end of the route with the smell of hot rubber filling the air right across Carrick. The icing on the cake had to be the fact that the club won the Best Group Float, while unexpected, was very gratefully recieved by the the entire club. Our club sights are now focused solely on the Faugheen50 Sprint this July on the 11th and 12th of July where we will see riders competing in a time trial across the two days.
