The Faugheen50 Supporters Club are running in conjuction with the Motorsport Marshals Association, a Marshal Training Seminar on Saturday 28th March at 11am in the Mill River Industrial Estate, Carrick on Suir. The seminar will cover all aspects of Marshalling, flag seminar, manual handling, working at heights, fire training and inparting the knowledge and understanding into being a marshal. Without Marshals, road racing, and motorsport events cannot go ahead, and with the large gap between the last time we ran the Faugheen50, it will give new people a chance to support and help the club. The marshals ensure a safe running of the event, supporting the riders and competitors, the club officials and spectators to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. The training is open to anyone, you don't have to be a Faugheen50 club member, and the training will see you be certified to do Marshalling, however the minimum age for marshalling is 18 years of age. All you need to do, is come along, bring a passport sized photograph of yourself and €10. We hope to see lots of new people coming along and helping out.
